Welcome to a weekend check-in. I have some tedious paperwork to complete, and I said jokingly to my sibling on the phone "I will probably end up tidying half the house rather than do this paperwork". Only it turns out I need a specific document, and I have lost it ~somewhere~ in this house, and that's not actually a joke any more.
I'll ramble a little in the comments like I usually do, but please check in with your challenges and successes and surprises, and let's cheer each other on a bit.

Date: 2023-10-22 09:15 pm (UTC)The animation cels aren't actually ones I've done -- but rather, some that I own from a bunch of anime series from the 90s. Here is my really outdated gallery. I have to sporadically change out the bags and slip in some fresh microchmaber paper as part of caring for them. I recently bought another folio for keeping them organized, but haven't done anything with it. What I might wind up doing is just doing 2-3/cels a day and scanning them at the same time. Might be the only way I get it done at this rate!

Thanks for linking to your gallery, such pretty images! I think I've heard of Utena as some kind of classic, very impressive that you got some from that anime.
2-3/cels per day to re-bag and scan them in sounds like a good, sustainable plan. Maybe even only re-bag if time or energy are short. I would love to hear some updates from you on how that project is going in the future. :-)
