Another update

Things had slowed down a bit with my plans for uncluttering, but they've just had a boost as our house-guest of the last 4 months has just moved out, taking at least half of her stuff with her! The rest will go 'in due course'. ( Love you, T, and it's been good having you to stay, but I couldn't get to my stuff to sort though it.)
A dozen more books to the charity shop, plus a few clothes, and a truly revolting ornament went to the rubbish bin - no one would want it in their house, so why did I still have it?
A 'quick win' was when A and I decided to sort through our underwear drawers - why on earth do we hold on to socks with holes in them and knickers which are grey with age and washing? A lot went out, with some new replacements in, but I'm counting it as a win overall.
We bought a document chest from Ikea which holds paper up to A2 size, great for storing my paintings and drawings, so that counts as a win, too, in uncluttering some of the piles of paper.
That's it for now, but in the new year, I will have no excuse for not looking clearly at the wardrobe of craft 'stuff' I have accumulated. Use it or pass it on, my head says. We'll see.
So, a happy festive season to everyone, and may everything that comes into your house be things that you can value.
