I finally broke down and went through and and put the cord to anything important (travel DVD player, synthesizer, etc...) and then went, "Okay, if I haven't labeled the cord and it's not sitting on something RIGHT NOW that I'm worried about having a cord for... I probably don't need/don't own the cord it went to."
