Today in twiglet's wardrobe
Aug. 1st, 2011 05:50 pmOK, so I posted here once ages ago and introduced myself, but between moving and stress this is the first time since then that I've actually *done* any clearing. Here we go...
Kitchen
In: 1 big, shiny new frying pan
Out: 3 (count them!) ancient, revolting and tiny frying pans
Wardrobe
In: 1 cool rain jacket. 2 shirts.
Out (to sell or give to charity): 1 naff rain jacket. 1 t-shirt, 1 jumper.
Out (to be recycled into a quilt): 2 t-shirts
Out (demoted to sleepwear): 1 t-shirt
Other notes: 1 shirt sent to the sewing pile to make it wearable. 1 rather epic vintage frock coat regretfully demoted to the "wish it fitted but actually I need to take a pattern off it and make my own" pile.
Totals:
In: 4
Out: 8
Overall: -4. I HAVE ACHIEVED!
(This is the first time I've actually got all my stuff in one place since moving house, and queen that I am my clothes are a massive source of emotional baggage to me. That's five whole garments completely out of my life - not put in a pile to do something else with, or kept in a box to maybe wear later when I'm a better person. So overall I think I did quite well!)
