How goes the decluttering? Have you shifted anything out of the house? Found something to sort through? Had thoughts on things you can let go of?

Comments open to locals, lurkers, drive by sticky beaks, and anyone I've forgotten to mention.

Also: I've very much appreciated the posts people have been putting up through the week, I just haven't had the spoons to respond.

On a technicality: I've decluttered my hair -- cut it all off to send to one of the wig making charities (which one yet to get determined) -- down to a number 6 cut.

My goodness, what a generous act on your part. Decluttering takes all forms, doesn't it?

I like to have a reason to cut my hair short! I've never regretted doing it, but the pang of sadness about it is much less when I feel like I'm doing something with it.

Somewhat belated, but for the month of September I decluttered another 599 items all told, mostly very small items. My house is still not listed for sale; I missed the deadline due to some health issues but am hoping to have that done very soon now.

How are you tracking the numbers, if you don't mind me asking?

I sorted through (almost) all of my clothes and filled one bag of items to donate, and a smaller bag of items to recycle.

I went through a box of things that have been sat in the loft for ages - binned half, took some to the local little free library and put the rest in the craft supplies

As long as it doesn’t rain, we’ll actually start sorting through the items downstairs! 😃. The items will be stored in either the playhouse or screen house.
