How goes the decluttering? Have you managed to rehome anything? Find a stash of things that were no better than rubbish, and bin them? Clear out a stash and now have an empty space? Anything, small or large, physical or virtual, counts as a win!

Date: 2025-02-21 03:16 pm (UTC)It's a little backwards maybe because tagging photos I plan to delete is a bit of a waste of energy. However, I have a lot of photos of cats (for instance) across multiple months. I'd rather be able to look at ALL the photos of a particular cat from across several months and pick out the best ones, as that way I think I'll have fewer photos that look basically the same.

Date: 2025-02-21 08:01 pm (UTC)About half the wardrobe is still on the 'does this even get used?' side and a couple shirts are lingering there because they cling uncomfortably whenever they're worn. Just waiting for the season to change to formally get rid of them.

Thanks!
Date: 2025-02-27 01:47 pm (UTC)Also found another basket for Mom. I just need to take the larger box downstairs so I can put washed blankets into it and hopefully find the lid to it.
Re: Thanks!

Date: 2025-02-24 09:53 am (UTC)I've been going through my fabric scraps boxes, and thinning them down. I'm allowing a specific set of boxes for whatever I keep, but getting down to that little is really stressful.

Date: 2025-02-24 10:12 pm (UTC)You could make some scraps into cabbage - finely-cut-up bits and threads that can be turned into stuffing.

Date: 2025-02-25 08:42 am (UTC)I've done a couple of passes on larger pieces, this was the 'oh, but I keep tripping over those' pile.
Am resisting cutting things up -- I have a stash of stuffing bits that I've collected ~over 20 years, and I almost never use. I think I've made a couple of pin cushions with it!
