How goes the decluttering? Have you managed to rehome anything? Find a stash of things that were no better than rubbish, and bin them? Clear out a stash and now have an empty space? Anything, small or large, physical or virtual, counts as a win!

I've started (finally) decluttering my digital photos. I decided to start doing it in parts. First is importing all my photos into Digikam. I'm grouping them roughly by date/location so it's not all in one huge folder. I have a tag system set up in Digikam and I plan to go through each album and bulk tag photos. Then I'll go through the TAGS and decide what photos to keep.

It's a little backwards maybe because tagging photos I plan to delete is a bit of a waste of energy. However, I have a lot of photos of cats (for instance) across multiple months. I'd rather be able to look at ALL the photos of a particular cat from across several months and pick out the best ones, as that way I think I'll have fewer photos that look basically the same.

The trick of transitioning clothing from one side of the closet to the other if it's being worn versus not has been working.

About half the wardrobe is still on the 'does this even get used?' side and a couple shirts are lingering there because they cling uncomfortably whenever they're worn. Just waiting for the season to change to formally get rid of them.

Managed to clean half my loveseat and gave a basket to Mom to use.

Thanks!

Also transferred a bunch of pillowcases and other linens into a former Christmas ornament box so I can place blankets into the larger box the linens were originally in.

Also found another basket for Mom. I just need to take the larger box downstairs so I can put washed blankets into it and hopefully find the lid to it.

It took a few rounds over the years to carve down the fabrics in the closet. It isn't easy.

You could make some scraps into cabbage - finely-cut-up bits and threads that can be turned into stuffing.
