Steady progress, as I thin out the craft supplies. My acrylic paints, one blank canvas and many blank boards went to a friend tonight. Several things went home with a friend yesterday, although I don't remember much of that was. I cleared the table in the main room only to empty some craft boxes and start thinning out what I'm actually keeping.

I keep finding more! I swear, this house has developed pocket dimensions that it has been stashing things in. Not helped by the fact that we've been here 20 years, and in the early days I had to keep paints away from inquisitive fingers, so there are any number of foolish places I've found things.

I went to a craft materials swap meet a few months ago and walked away with so many wonderful things--for free, and I've used almost all of them. So decluttering on one end can be a nice boon on the other.

So far so good. It helps that one of my friends is a specialist teacher in a primary school, so has a lot of use for cute things, craft items, and kids books.

Mom and I began sorting our linens and Christmas ornaments. We donated a tray full of ornaments, but had to throw away a broken one. Also donated some linens.

We still have a few more containers to go through, but at least I was able to clean one out and can hopefully store at least one blanket in it. I want to wash all of the ones that are on an office table that could be hauled away.

Oh, well done on doing the ornaments now, when people are going to use them immediately and get joy from them!

There's an early year's goal to read through the existing apartment books.

A shipment of fabric samples came in - and I picked through them for fabrics that are *usable* for the projects they'd be for. Samples before full purchases!

Started a mock up from existing cheap cotton.

Added an old shawl that has not seen action in many years to the clothes donation bag.

Resolved not to get more fancy vinegars until the current stock (of like. 8 bottles) is gone.

Set aside some poor-quality alcohol to pour down the sink later. Ciao, bad liquor.

Many wins! Fabulous going.

That was very restrained of you on the fabric. I'm very susceptible to a nice fabric myself, as can be seen by the yards and yards of beautiful fabric I'm never going to remember why I bought it.

Good luck on the reading goal. Hopefully it is an achievable number of books.

A win for me was taking a large bag of jigsaw puzzles (maybe 12?) to the library as they held a puzzle swap on Saturday (while I was out of town, but a good thing, no temptation to add to the hord, I have 3 I haven't even opened yet) and I was brutal in picking out the puzzles to donate.

Well done! And sneaky too, so that you didn't get more. I had to request no more as gifts, because I struggle on being ruthless in getting rid of the ones that came from family.
