I took some kids collector cards (animals), some in albums and some loose, in to work and gave them to a co-worker with smalls. My shelf of 'things to rehome' now has a visible section!

Ha! I can relate. I have a spot on top of the bookcase with two sets of magna tiles (kids magnetic blocks) out ready the next time I see neighbor with a little boy.
