Sunday decluttering report
Dec. 5th, 2021 04:10 pmIt's been a bit of a year, and I'd entirely fallen off the DW posting wagon. However, I'd like to get back to weekly posts here, and am committing to putting up a Sunday 'what have you uncluttered' post for at least the rest of the year.
So? What have you uncluttered? Have you moved things off a flat space? Identified things to leave the house? Got something out of the house? Managed to put rubbish in the bin? Nothing too small or 'inconsequential', this is not a competition with anything except entropy.

Date: 2021-12-05 08:14 am (UTC)Youngest officially finished high school two weeks ago. They have taken responsibility for rehoming uniform and unwanted text books. So far, all the year 12 books have gone to new homes, as has some of the uniform.
And I took a box of Stuff that had been in the back of the car for weeks in to the op shop! Our front hall is not longer a tripping hazard,

Date: 2021-12-06 08:25 am (UTC)This week, I spent time dealing with a lot of small amounts of clutter in various place that had accumulated over a few weeks while I was busy/stressed, and I feel much calmer for it!
Over the summer/early autumn, I did manage to make some progress with getting things out of the house and I hope to get back to that over the next couple of months. There's a pile of paper to be shredded calling to me, so I hope I can get to that this week, along with a few other things I've picked out to do.

Yay for getting the clutter sorted and feeling better as a result!
Getting the paper shredded and gone is a nice clear task, I hope it goes smoothly.
