The slogging is tough, but I promise you there will suddenly come a day when there's a tipping point and you realise there is *gasp* space! (Or at least, things aren't shoved in so tightly/piled up so much.) And, as kalloway says above, no one else is going to do it -- and it's not going to get done otherwise.
