On the bright side, as I try to wear everything in my closet, I find what doesn't fit anymore (I loved that shirt) and accept that I'll never wear the skirt that still has tags on it (...years after purchase).  More things to list for sale on poshmark.  I'm trying SO HARD to avoid the one in, one out, with clothes right now.  Buying things on poshmark is so much easier and faster then selling... stay strong friends.

I definitely need to do another pass of my closet in the near-ish future. My problem is that I've weeded out enough in the past that I do need to replenish "staple" clothing like tank tops and plain black t-shirts but still have basically nothing for certain events but sure do have sweatshirts I never wear.

Maybe consider what you need, clothing-wise, for daily use and events and if something does fit with a need category, then it's okay to bring in.

It's all stuff I can do without, and I've got plenty of staples and daily wear for all seasons. These were things tucked away for more office-friendly situations, of which I have few because I'm a freelancer, that no longer fit well because I ... didn't follow the washing directions... or I just never wore it and I'd long gotten rid of any coordinating shirts anyway. I'm trying to avoid buying pretty things, and hold out for things I love and will wear constantly. Much like today's new tie dye tank top!
