Weekend Uncluttering

What have you found to rehome over the weekend?

I've been dealing with one of those areas that keeps being a problem -- the jars in my overflow cupboard. I've matched lids and jars, moved things around, and found half a dozen that aren't fit for any of the purposes I use jars for.

I've also been sorting (and throwing!) papers, but that seems a forever task.

I temporarily moved my mom's old stereo from the bedroom to the kitchen table so I can listen to records that I want to get rid of. If they play without skipping, I'll take them to my local record store to trade in. There was just no way to listen to records upstairs, but this way, I can listen to them while I clean or read or whatever in the kitchen and be available to my daughter while she's in the living room watching TV or playing. So far, I've gotten rid of 8 records, all of which I also have on CD.

I'm guessing, if you have them on CD, they are good albums, so I'm guessing that this is an enjoyable way to listen to some favourites? Good job on having got through 8 of them already!
