Mid-week uncluttering
Jul. 18th, 2018 07:36 pmHow goes the uncluttering these last few days?
I have repurposed a quite lovely 'plastic backpack' that was used as the plastic bag for something partner bought at the apple store as the new op-shop bag, and it now has a book (it's been 5+ years, the recipient is never getting it) and a piece of clothing (put it on, realised I hate it, put it in the bag) ready to leave the house.
I also bought a pack of 8 glasses (on special, $8) which are going to be jam jars for the lemon curd I plan to make with the pile of lemons I was gifted a while back. So kind of in, but kind of the next step in getting something dealt with.

Date: 2018-07-18 02:32 pm (UTC)Am now resisting the urge to go acquire More Boxes. That form will not work for everything and I know it. Uh, call it preventative uncluttering.
Jam jars, I am convinced, Do Not Count. They tend to go away anyway, as I can never eat the amount of jam that even a modest canning session produces.

Date: 2018-09-22 12:37 pm (UTC)I use "Kleerview Covers", which are basically squares of what looks like cellophane, but which shrinks a bit when it gets wet, so I wipe a wet cloth over, then pull it as tight as possible across the top of the glass.
