Mid-week uncluttering

How is the uncluttering going where you are?

I have nothing to report, as after having been back and forth to the ice-rink multiple times (first arrival 5:30am, last departure 3:15 pm), I decided that the Spare Room of Doom was more than I wanted to deal with.

nothing to report. General tidying here and there, but nothing has left the house or been repurposed.

I've thrown out some threadbare socks and underwear. Hoping that piece after piece will make a difference.

I got rid of another bag of old clothes and random bric-a-brac to a doorstep charity collection! (Well, I put the bag out and it disappeared, so I assume the charity collected it.... Whatever happened, it is gone!)

More garden waste has been disposed of (and it was too hot this week to make more).

After procrastinating for a couple of weeks, because it's going to be hard work (emotionally, mentally), I've also finally begun sorting through photos. I'm hoping to be a bit more ruthless about which ones I get rid of, and will also be pulling out photos I (probably) want to frame. That will then let me go through my large collection of empty photo frames and work out which ones I'm going to actually use and which ones I'm going to donate.

We redid our kitchen floor this week, so not much uncluttering, but it was satisfying to rip out the ripped, crumbling, smelly, stained vinyl sheet flooring. The new floor is luxury vinyl plank, so it's waterproof and much easier to clean, plus we won't be tripping over the ripped edges of it, yay!
