Mid-week uncluttering

How is the uncluttering going where you are?

I have nothing to report, as after having been back and forth to the ice-rink multiple times (first arrival 5:30am, last departure 3:15 pm), I decided that the Spare Room of Doom was more than I wanted to deal with.

I got rid of another bag of old clothes and random bric-a-brac to a doorstep charity collection! (Well, I put the bag out and it disappeared, so I assume the charity collected it.... Whatever happened, it is gone!)

More garden waste has been disposed of (and it was too hot this week to make more).

After procrastinating for a couple of weeks, because it's going to be hard work (emotionally, mentally), I've also finally begun sorting through photos. I'm hoping to be a bit more ruthless about which ones I get rid of, and will also be pulling out photos I (probably) want to frame. That will then let me go through my large collection of empty photo frames and work out which ones I'm going to actually use and which ones I'm going to donate.

Good to hear that the charity bag disappeared.

And good luck with the photos. I pulled some out a while ago, freaked out, and put them straight back -- I hope you do better than that!

Hahaha, I sympathise with that!

I've managed a few short sessions while sitting in front of the TV and got rid of a surprising amount so far -- largely photos that are very similar to others (so I'm keeping just the better ones) or not particularly great shots from events where I have plenty of other better pictures.

(It helped to put the boxes of photos somewhere very visible and mildly inconvenient, so I'd eventually reach the point of being more annoyed than reluctant.)
