Friday Report
Apr. 6th, 2018 09:05 pmI have done very little de-cluttering this week. The Books to Prisoners spring book sale is next Saturday, and this week and the next will be devoted to getting ready for it. We are also spending twice as much on shipping as our monthly budget in an effort to clean out some of the book order overflow in the packing room. I an moving lots of books on, but not from my house.
I did pack 2 banker's boxes of books in my house, but they are not from my shelves. They are books I collected from various places for central Illinois prison libraries. We are holding a book pick-up day for the librarians on May 9, so we are in collecting mode. Maybe in a month I will be able to get back to my own book sorting, and start work on setting up the closet for summer. I hope at that time to also get rid of some clothing, but it's all got to wait.

Date: 2018-04-07 12:01 pm (UTC)I hope that the book sale and the pickup days go well, and you feel like you can breathe a little more easily in the workroom once you've got those books (and the extra ones that you're shipping) out of the door. And that your own decluttering goes well when you get back to it.
On my end, I haven't managed to get anything significant out of the house in the past week, but I have organised and packed a bunch of stuff so it'll be easy to move out when I have the chance to take it where it needs to go. And it's a lot less visually intrusive in the meanwhile.
