Mid-week uncluttering

How is your uncluttering going so far this week?

I made the trek to IKEA to get the spare shelves for the bookshelves we bought some months ago, just as they were phasing out the old colour. While I was there, I picked up some more of the colourful plastic bowls that we use all the time. When I got home, I put the spare bowls (18) of the older style, as well as some slightly discoloured ones of the current version, into the give away box. Quite pleased with this, given how irritating it was to have two types.

I'm a little jealous of your IKEA trip, and not, it's such a fun store and I do love organizing things.

I have a love/hate relationship with IKEA. The current store is two stories, and just too big for me to be comfortable just doing one floors worth (and that the one that is half warehouse). But I always get useful things.

Hooray for just one style of bowl! I have the same problem with 'disposable' plastic containers.

No real progress on uncluttering. I found an art supply I'd misplaced, and replaced another supply I'd run out of, and that should set me up to finish a project. \o/

I just took out the trash, recycling, and compost; donated a box with stuff that's been sitting in the hall forever, a couple magazines to the library, a free tube of toothpaste from a coupon to the community pantry, and got the kitchen party reset.

I feel mildly productive and like I can maaaybe tackle some of my desk before bed.

Many tasks successfully completed! Well done. Especially the getting everything out of the house.

I think all my ThinkGeek shirts are headed to Goodwill. They're size medium. They fit, but not well. I might replace them with size large eventually, but then again I might not...
