How goes the mission?

I had a pretty good weekend. I sold a thing to the consignment store and was able to buy a needed thing. The thing they didn't buy from me was added to the donation bag. One child and I went through some clothes and whatever Child didn't want was added to the donation bag, which was donated later that day. A small bag, but still things gone.

Spouse went through the school paperwork and recycled a bit. The bin has been put away, the papers have been recycled.

This weekend and growth spurts brought time to go through some clothing for the kids. Some clothes were added to the handmedown box, some were thrown out. At the rate we're going, the handmedown box should be filled in the next week or two, depending on the willingness of Child to go through a closet!

I've got a thing ready to ship to a friend later this week. And we have only two padded envelopes left, a small one and a priority mail envelope so it's just chilling in the drawer.

I also went through the pantry a bit, pulled a few things, combined a few things, threw out a few things.

Thank you for making the post! My weekend was consumed with attempting to help a friend with a sewing project, and involved buying more craft materials, because closing down sale. Nothing out that I'm aware of, except things already bookmarked to go actually going to their next home.

Things actually going to their next home is a very important part of the process! It's the one I personally struggle with most, just for practical/transport reasons. So well done on that. :-)

I hope you enjoy using up the craft materials you bought in the sale!

I sympathise on the practical/transport reasons. My preferred op-shop is outside of my usual travels, but it is one that I'm keen to support, so sometimes things sit in the hall for weeks. I think I might have found a point in the week where I can add in a detour, and have now made another drop off there!
