Mid-week uncluttering

unclutterHow is it Wednesday already? Are you, like me, bemused at the speed the week has disappeared, or have you been efficiently decluttering away?
I've now tried on each of the three shirts I thought I was going to keep. The first one fitted fine, but isn't suitable for work because I spent all day trying to fidget it in to sitting right, and is going through at one of the seams (fortunately below my waistband); the second one is too tight across the bust. Thus, two more items in the throw out box. The third is no longer suitable for work, having lost the elasticity at the rather scooped neckline that stopped it from being a little two cleavage exposing. However, it is a lovely soft fabric, and a long enough tunic top, that it can become a round the house 'this is not a nightie'. And I've put one of my pretty but foolish sun dresses on display. Still trying to decide whether to keep it for the sheer pleasure of looking at it, or trying to find a second hand consignment store to take it.

I made mine worse by moving a box of stuff in to it, only to realise that a few months back, I'd moved it the other way to make more space so that I could actually get to the sewing machine.
But I have a deadline (approximately October) to have the spare room empty enough to actually use the sofa bed, so the craft room will have to suffer.

Date: 2018-02-27 05:07 pm (UTC)I ended up saying Heck With It and using the craft room anyway, because I wanted to get some cosplay done for a small convention this weekend. This didn't make my organizational goals any better, but /I/ feel better having worked on a project and stretched my skills in other ways. And in not having added to the stash while I was at it.

... also, unrelated, that icon gives me the giggles every time I see it.
