Current decluttering project: Knitting the yarn I don't like very much. It's not the weight I normally use but I like the fiber... so I'll use it up and free up the space in my stash. I'll probably donate the hats I make--there is a donation bin on a child's school so no excuses!

I'm looking for something like that to deal with all the red and pink yarn I pulled out of the stash that turned out to be the wrong weight for current blanket project. Suggestions welcome (I don't think hats will work here, and I don't know what I'd do with bright coloured scarves, because so few people wear them).

I used Ravelry to find a pattern, just plugged in the weight and yardage/meterage of what I had and found something that looked fun to knit. Sometimes it takes a while!

Ooh, I hadn't thought about just hunting Ravelry! Will have to give that a go.
