Mid-week uncluttering

Today, I have put most of the previously identified items for the bulk rubbish collection out on the verge -- an old fashioned high chair that was pretty scruffy when I got it 15+ years ago (still works, but I've not been able to rehome it), a broken chair, dead electronics, a box of assorted things that can't go in the general rubbish but don't count as hazardous household waste (mostly fabric items that can't be otherwise reused). I've one more that needs emptying out before it can go, and I hope that I'll identify more as we go through the back garden. We've got the weekend - pick up starts on Monday. So hopefully we'll find more rubbish before the pick up, rather than our traditional three days after the truck has been through. No decluttering happened Monday (in transit) or yesterday (sick), and my guess is there won't be any tomorrow (paperwork).
While I was away, I dropped off a stack of books to one friend, and some music books to a second. I anticipate getting some of the music books back, once they have an idea of which ones are suitable for their current level/plans to practice.
