Digging in deep. Yesterday I realized I have some nearly pristine decorations that I used for a themed birthday party. Three years ago. I dug those out and am currently offering them to friends on facebook.

I still have plenty of things on counters, in drawers, on shelves to go through. But I dug these decorations out. Hidden clutter is still clutter.

In other news, I am pleased with using up what I have. No need to buy more *things* just to buy things. Working through the comsumables makes me feel rich--look at all this yarn I have! Can't wait to use it!

Notebooks! I hear you. I think I gave away 10 notebooks in the last few months. Some to friends, some to Blessing Boxes. I LOVE new notebooks and now that I have only 2 lined up as new journals, I know what I like, more than pretty notebooks. Quality, not quantity.

Why are notebooks so tempting?

LOL I have never been able to figure that one out myself. Maybe it's all the potential they have, just waiting.

A friend/coworker, many years ago, bought me a couple of fancy notebooks for a birthday gift, and to this day, it's one of the best things I've ever received.

The potential, I think. The idea that I could fill this notebook with deep thoughts, introspection, personal revelations. Or use it for work. But nearly all of the pile didn't work for those. And as much as I want to fill a notebook with deep thoughts... it takes me a while.

Also, friends give me notebooks, or I buy a new notebook for a specific use, and the notebooks aren't quite right, or I use 3 pages. In that case, cut out those 3 pages and send the notebook along to someone who wants it.

Oh, that's an idea. I will write in a few pages, then just leave it. Although I wonder if I'm not nice enough to pass them on. lol
