unclutter | Unclutter 2014: days 141

As previously noted, I'm doing Unclutter 2014, which involves getting rid of 1 thing per day in 2014, plus an extra thing for every thing that comes into the house. I thought I'd also keep track of where the things go (landfill, charity shop, recycling, etc). I'm planning to post once every ten days, giving a summary of how I'm doing.

Days 1–140: 344 out (114 landfill, 138 recycled, 55 charity shop, 9 gifts, 3 Freegle, 1 bartered, 8 used up, 8 food waste, 8 archived), 69 in, net out: 275.

Days 141–150 totals: 9 out (1 landfill, 8 charity shop), 2 in, net out: 7.

Not the full 10, but better than last time! Details of the past 10 days are below.

Day 141: Nothing in, nothing out.

Day 142: 1 out: Insole for a shoe I no longer own (landfill).

Day 143: 1 in: Thompson directory came through door. Not sure whether I'll be keeping this or not.

Day 144: 8 out: books taken to charity shop.

Days 145-147: Nothing in, nothing out.

Day 148: 1 in: Copy of Herb Lester's London guide arrived in the post.

Days 149-150: Nothing in, nothing out.
