uncluttering one day and one thing at a time

For sure! My mom is one of those people who saves all kinds of weird things--paper towel tubes, for example. Some of it she does use efficiently, like food containers (meticulously sorted by size). Others just sit there (like the paper towel tubes, which I occasionally used for crafts as a kid...but I'm 26 and haven't lived with her in 9 years). So I definitely picked up some of that "I can USE this...someday!" mentality growing up.
