Does Anyone Unclutter Their Email?
Jul. 12th, 2025 06:51 pmI went through a round of email purging. 3k+ emails in one category have gone to within 2k.
Over the next year or so I'd like to clean up old emails until everything that is needed/desired is in its own folder, and everything else has been deleted.

Date: 2025-07-13 01:41 pm (UTC)I have some filters that move 'whenever I feel like it' emails into folders that I look at occasionally and read a few and delete lots unread. I like the idea of having a nearly empty inbox so that only what is important is in there. But in terms of old ones? No, I just file them
I do 'declutter' my subscriptions on a reasonably regular basis. I'm moving away from email subscriptions when there is an RSS option. I'm not more likely to read the RSS, but it doesn't clutter my inbox.
