I agree about Rubbermaid -- it's soooo much better than that crap Walmart carries.
If you have a Home Depot hardware store within range, I have found Rubbermaid totes there. I suggest checking availability online before you go -- sometimes the store personnel don't even know it's there. If I can say, "It's supposed to be in Bay X, Aisle Y," they can help me find it.
Rubbermaid totes' most common sizes are 10-gallon and 18-gallon. The 10-gallon tub is 15 inches wide by 21 inches long by 9 inches deep. (Rough measurements; I didn't count the handles at the ends.) The 18-gallon tub is the same dimensions in size (lids are interchangeable), but about twice as deep. (I have 10-gallon in the house, so I could measure, but the 18-gallon are out in the shed and it's dark. But two 10-gallon stacked on top of each other are very close in height to one 18-gallon tote.)
