I half arsed the March Madness, mostly by sorting through things and ditching what was clearly rubbish. What I have left is a lot of things that need to leave the house, one way or another. So, my goal for April is to work through the stash of things to rehome, and actually do something.

I've started early, by deciding that the pristine set of statistics journals are not valuable to anyone, and have dropped them in the recycling.

also on the list

  • single bed
  • old towels (cat haven?)
  • text books (high school)
  • ice skates
  • assorted choir / dance / ice skating clothing that the kids (now adults) have long out grown.

Good luck with getting things out of the house — that's often the hardest part, I find.

And well done on ditching the rubbish, also an important step!

Yay to getting things out of the house - especially things like those statistics journals! Sorting and making decisions is the hardest part of decluttering, I think. There's an emotional reason why you still have those things, right? You're doing great!
