Oh wow, what a great decluttering and cleaning time you had!
The fridge is hard to keep tidy for me because I just can't stop buying things that I then rarely eat or forget about. For me, I think the solution is to stop buying those things but I can't seem to bring myself to do that. Yet. Sigh.
