Looking back at what I wrote for the last post, I see that my plans to do more work in the garden were completely derailed by a week of unusually low temperatures (for the UK) making the only-forecast-at-the-last-minute heavy snow we got hang around for a week. I was not going outside unless I absolutely had to!
I did make some progress on the magazines, but that also went by the wayside after a while, so I need to get back on that. But my strategy of building reading time into my schedule did work. I just need to make sure I do it!
For the new year, I'm looking to have another pass at uncluttering my books, as I have more books that shelf space. I'll largely be concentrating on fiction where I may want to read those books again but know I can borrow a digital version from Open Library if I do get the urge.
There are also some shelves where I did a fairly good uncluttering job a few years ago that I haven't touched for a while, so I want to go through those again, to see if I can find more things to move on and make space for things that need a better home.
And the garden. Always the garden. (It reclutters itself much too easily!)
