Some big things gone

I've mostly been avoiding the idea of uncluttering this year -- there has been a lot going on with the family, and it looked to be a very busy year.

However, a friend moved into a place on their own over the weekend, and their stuff won't get here from Canberra for who knows how long, so they now have our ratty old couch, cushions to stuff in it, the spare desk, and a desk chair (a reasonable one that wasn't being used for Reasons). So now there is space in the garage to move again, which means remembering to get out there and deal with Stuff.

That room to deal with stuff is a gift!

Decluttering has quickly taken a back seat for me too. I will use up what I have and appreciate that I'm not bringing too much back into the house. I mean, other than the books I've ordered. Gotta keep occupied.

And such a gift -- we are going to move all of the things that we want to rehome out of the front hall, so we don't have to deal with it while we are still in semi-lockdown.

I also went a bit mad with books -- I'd forgotten how many pre-orders were due in February, so did orders with two of my kids, and suddenly there are books everywhere.
