I wish selling online was as easy and fast as buying online. Still, I sold and shipped two things (and bought.... more than two things...). I put a ruined scooter on the curb for the local scrappers to grab before the garbage collectors come by. Some people complain about the scrappers, I try to catch them--I'm not going to bother going halfway across the county for one or two scrap items to gain $2, so the scrappers can have the metal. Anyway, my library has opened up for donations again so I'll drop off four books for donation tomorrow and return two library books. I've accepted that I won't find The Perfect Project for my mini silk yarn skeins, so I've made several small treasure bags. Bags are better than skeins any day.
What creative ways have you found to declutter? Cook with those odd pantry items? Start that project you've been keeping for for when you have more time or focus? Use those fancy bath soaps in a luxurious soak? Drink the fancy teas or coffees? Tell you what, now is the time to spoil yourself with all that "special occasion" stuff we've all got.
I'll be honest, there's not much decluttering I can do right now. With my illness (it's cancer, and I'm well on my way to beating it) and how tired I get so quickly, one or two things here and there is my best. And that's good! I'm keeping decluttering habits. Also, when shopping online, impulse shopping is harder (sort of) so that's helpful to maintain the sheer amount of stuff in my house.
