Weekend uncluttering

How has your uncluttering gone this weekend? Are you tidying up after the Solstice, still prepping for Christmas, celebrating some other holiday, or avoiding the seasonal silliness entirely?
I woke up with energy and minimal pain today, so I wombled out into the garden. I moved a dilapidated cane trunk to the staging area for our bulk rubbish collection (nearly 6 months away), and half filled it with small items that partner had pulled out of their section of the cupboard yesterday (mostly destroyed clothing, which can't go in our recycling or our rubbish bins, and isn't the right kind of fabric to make rags). Then I went back to the patio, and started sorting the cardboard and boxes that have been piling up. Several were small enough to break up and put in the recycling bin, several others have been put next to it to break down as we have space in the bin, and the others will be stacked up for other purposes.
I also started cleaning some of the other items that have been mouldering in the corner of the patio. I *think* that I might be able to salvage a backpack with some careful sewing, and I think the swing lounge might also come good if we do some repairs, so they will go from dusty, unsightly clutter to useful! I'm probably going to have to sew covers for the cushions, because they are in poor nick, but I hope to be able to get the fabric for that soon-ish. Other items have been moved into a teetering mound, so while I haven't dealt with them, at least I've got more space on the patio! The plan is to go out there and read each day I'm on holidays, so I hope to be motivated to do more.
