Random tips I've discovered in decluttering over the past few years (yes, I've been at it for years)
-Always have a give away box going. This encourages giving things away--it will only linger in this box until the box is full and away it goes.
-Any other parents here? My kids seem to collect tiny toys that would be thrown away if donated. I have a stash of tiny toys they never play with or kid meal toys they never opened and give them away on Halloween with candy. Allergen friendly!
-Plan B. I tried to sell a thing on craigslist but there were no bites, so I gave it away. I'd rather have the space than the money.
-Pick a challenge area and do it. The linen closet? The medicine cabinet? The fridge? Clean it out and get things on their way.
