You are a good and kind friend! The reward of tea roulette and good meals is fully justified. :-) (Also, uncluttering for other people is generally so much easier than doing our own stuff, because it's less emotional, isn't it?)

I managed to make a teensy bit more progress in the garage in getting things ready to go out on the next tip trip or into the bin for the next rubbish collection. Plus did a few small tasks (relating to intangible stuff) that had been lingering on my to-do list.

I've also been re-energised and re-enthused after a bit of a slump by two things. A new charity shop is opening nearby (with relatively easy parking), so it should be easier to get rid some/most of the stuff I've accumulated but not got out of the house because it was "too hard". And I've been watching decluttering/organising videos from an online event that have got me inspired again. So hope to get more done in the next few weeks.

Yay for the new charity shop! Sounds like that will be a big help.

Well done and it's great to find something to re-energise and re-enthuse your efforts. I'm sure the new charity shop will appreciate the donations too particularly if it's new.

My mini achievement this week was at work. Someone who retired left of bunch of knick-knacks and other assorted items when they cleaned out their office. A few were still sitting around the main office area and I finally took them home and put them in the bag that will go to the thrift shop.

I've recycled 3 things, sold and shipped a thing (yay padded envelope usage!), and have made excellent progress recycling all those cardboard boxes we'd been saving for a Halloween costume project. Project is done, time to reclaim all that space.

Also, I've been trying to find ways to give gifts for holidays, as I do enjoy giving, without cluttering up others' homes. So far, I have two gifts of food ready, found at a local holiday event.

Oh, and I sent ANOTHER box of handmedowns along, and have started the next one. Added about six things in there so far!

Well done on your progress and at looking at your gift giving in a positive for others way.

I've filled another two boxes to go to the charity store - I hope to drop them off on Tuesday - which if I'm industrious might give me a chance to add a couple more items.

I moved some stuff to vacuum the kitchen and ended up clearing out a load of out of date food from one of the cupboards and sorted and recycled a lot of empty bags and boxes and old newspapers.

It is. And timely, as it all went in the garden waste bin which is being emptied tomorrow.
