So a mid week post again. At the last count, I had managed to get 68 extra items out and so far this week, I've continued the process.
I got home from work one night grumpy and wanting to change something - there was nothing I could change about the situation that made me grumpy so I gave myself over to some decluttering and the outcome was ...
5 out of date books (bin)
8 books (charity shop)
20 books (Sister offered first refusal, rest donated to local school)
12 books and 1 tape (given to nephew)
I then followed it up with collecting up all the junk mail trash that I could, opening all the envelopes and taking out all the unwanted leaflets/booklets and putting them out for the recycling. Each month we have a recycling collection that I wouldn't include here normally, but I don't buy many magazines or newspapers (the only things paperwise we're allowed to recycle), so while I'm good at recycling plastic bottles, tin cans and cardboard, I don't often put out the paper tub because there's not much in it. Amazing how much comes through the junk mail though.
I've found some more since that collection so will probably end up with enough to put it out again next month.
So current total is now 113 more out than in! Oh and I still haven't tackled the cupboard under the stairs (LOL!)
