Weekend uncluttering

'Tis Sunday again! What have you found to declutter?

I slept most of yesterday, and today I'm playing catchup on the computer, so the only thing I'm likely to declutter is my inbox. I have this dream of hitting inbox zero, and I'm hoping to hit 'nothing older than a week' by the end of the year ....

I support this goal, though I don't know if I could ever manage it. (But I'm trying.) I'll try to get a few taken care of tonight, though, and do some basic living room pickup in a bit. (and a walk, if it's not raining, for body clutter is also on my list to deal with)

I've been trying for some years. More than once, I've tried by just moving everything into a 'deal with it later' folder. But I might as well keep going!

Ah, I've done 'deal with it later' folders and then I never deal with them, because I'm a very out-of-sight-out-of-mind person. So everything got moved back and there it sits.

My 'care about it later' folders do tend to get ignored. However, I don't then have an inbox so full I can't cope with opening is, so six of one, etc. Having said that, all the active stuff is in my inbox at work -- just home that I run horrendously behind!

The house is mostly back to its normal state, my email inbox is as up to date as it usually is, and I got rid of a bag of garden waste.

As we are into a new tax year, I have also started on disposing another now out-of-date year of work-related and personal paperwork. Currently separating stuff that needs to be shredded from stuff that can go straight to recycling or trash. It's the perfect accompaniment to decluttering (i.e. catching up on) the podcasts I missed while away.

Oh, two-for-one on the podcasts and the paperwork, nice! Anything interesting in the podcasts?

I took in two CFL bulbs to be recycled. Just sold 3 things that were in the donation bin, to buy 2 things that will be used (so 2 in, 3 out). Added another thing to the donation pile.
