Well done on giving the TBR pile a quick once over! I sympathise on the number of years of reading one's TBR pile represents (I talk about buying books to read in my retirement, and while that is theoretically 20 years away, I won't be at all surprised if I'm reading some of them for the first time then).
Good luck with getting all of those boxes out of the house! Might the school also be interested in the audio books? Or is there a local library that has a 'free to good home' (or cheap sales) shelf? I know one of ours has set up a shelf where donated books (including audio books) get sold for a gold coin, and the money is a donation to the library. I've picked up a number of interesting reads there.
