Weekend uncluttering

What have you achieved on the decluttering front this weekend?

I listed several items on Buy Nothing yesterday, and have arranged pick ups for all the claimed ones -- two have gone, two to go. And I have a stack of items to drop at the op-shop on Wednesday, if no-one has claimed them. Other than that, I've continued working through my stash of scraps. I'm experimenting with using old lace curtain fabric as a base for crazy patchwork to make shopping bags, and the first try is looking good (not as happy as I might be, because if there was a way to stuff it up, I've done it, but this is the experimental one, and it is interesting anyway!)

Sorting some notebooks, shelving the empty ones til I need them, and I found some notes from when I was on the condo board that I definitely don't need now that I want nothing to do with the condo board. So they are in recycling and another blank notebook will be eagerly awaiting some words in the future.

So many little things! I sent a thing to a friend, added some lanyards to the textile recycling bag (and put the metal bits in regular recycling), gave four books away, and sold a thing. Spouse added 3 things to the donation pile.

And we finished off two packs of cookies. :D

Pretty much bringing items from the basement for Mom to decide how to get rid of them.

Progress! At least they aren't lurking in the basement any more. Here's to smooth sailing with the decision making and object rehoming processes.
