Friday Report
Mar. 20th, 2019 08:03 pmIt is clear I am really overcommitted, because I seem to have thought today was Friday. Here is a Friday Report on Wednesday.
I have been engaged with taxes and preparing for the BTP book sale and collecting books for prison libraries and corresponding about library needs; have done little extra in my house.
I did keep sorting papers than land on 3 major surfaces; the box of tax stuff is still on my kitchen table, but it will leave as soon as I make space in the filing cabinet for 2018 tax folder (it's actually one of those brown expansion folders with an elastic band - people in the US will probably recognize it) because it is bulky, and needs to join others from 2012-2017. I will probably put all but the last two in a banker's box to stash in the garage. There are a couple of boxes with more in there; some can probably be shredded but I have to think about it. Anyway, I did not manage to keep my kitchen table clear for the last two weeks, but things should change.
I have take 18 books to BTP in March, but the box of books to move on is empty, and I have not been working on my shelves, or piles, or other stashes. I hope to get back to it after the BTP book sale, and my trip to Boston to the BTP national convention. This means I might get back to work around April 15.
Household organization, and uncluttering, takes time, and never seems to end.

Date: 2019-03-22 01:49 pm (UTC)I sympathise about endless nature of organisation and uncluttering. Such small steps, and so many of them needed.
