Child: 4 toys, 1 book, 4 items of clothing & 1 pair of shoes
Me: 1 tshirt, 1 book, 2 dvds
House: 8 washable cleaning cloths, 1 steam cleaner, 2 packs Christmas cards, 2 jiffy bags, 1 tv, 1 dvd player,
8 teatowels
Total: 37
Out:
Charity shop: 31 books, 4 DVDs, 2 CDs, 2 computer games, 1 pair of child's shoes
Bookmooch: 3 books & 3 jiffy bags for transport
Otherwise given away: 1 tv, 7 unread magazines from last year
Recycled: 1 pile used A4 envelopes, 6 directories, 1 packaging box, 1 broken hard drive, 1 broken dvd player, 73 unread magazines from last 3 years, 8 holey teatowels
Shredded & composted: 7 stacks of old dead bank account statements
Binned: 1 manky mousemat, 1 sack of unwanted CD cases (no idea numbers, husband did it), 1 broken toy
Total: 155
Net out so far: 118 in 15 days
However, before I get too smug, I'm about to take delivery of a load of books from my mother's house as she prepares to move. I'll count as I catalogue them, but it's going to take the net out number way back down again.
