Weekend uncluttering

How goes the war on waste? The capture and release of clutter? The, umm, no, out of catchphrases.

Me? I have sorted my bookmark collection (mostly). I've put aside all the duplicates to send to friends, advertised them on Facebook, and probably know who they are going to. I've started a box of things going to one of those friends -- I know that there are half a dozen items, they just aren't all in the one place, so I haven't sent the parcel. I finished the sorting of a pile of books, and there are now several books to advertise for new homes. And the Stuff under the wash line is now on the verge. There wasn't as much as I had remembered, which means I probably need to do a wander around other areas of the garden and see what should be going. Oh, and I found a couple of obscure collectibles, contacted the friend I thought would be interested, and will be putting those in the mail ASAP.

Next up, I have to get kids to go through a pile of items I'm eyeing off as clutter.

I've reorganized the toys in the front room and moved several to other rooms. Small progress, but the front room is more pleasant!

While cleaning my hall/linen closet today I found 2 tablecloths to give away, and a bunch of expired OTC medications to toss.

It's great you can find homes for many of the things you don't need!

I've done some digital uncluttering - extra copies of pictures, files I haven't touched in more than five years. Uninstalled games I don't play (kept the installers in case I want to play again sometime).

Physical file-wise, threw out some saved writing-related articles because I never looked at them again or have found a better/clearer/more fun article on the same topic.

Put the few remaining vitamins into the new bottle.

Burned a couple of sticks of incense. That counts as uncluttering, right? Fewer sticks! XD

Those are all great achievements!

I count drinking tea as uncluttering, so I don't see why burning incense wouldn't :)
