Have you found anything unneeded hidden away where you least expected it?

I've done two things I'm pleased about in the last few days. The first is that I've crocheted up the four tag ends from the all-but finished most recent blanket project into the centres of Granny squares. Two of these I've also edged! By the end of the week, I should have edged the other two (I'd have done it today, except that I didn't have the right colour yarn with me) and sewn in all the ends! Preventing clutter before it happens.

The second is working out how to combine the large objects in two cluttered areas so as to give us about 3 square metres of floor back! If I can get that done in the next two weeks, I'll be on track for inviting people over the first free weekend we'll have after the kids' extra-curricular activities stop for the year. Tonight's task was to collect together all of the pieces of paper on the small table that has to be moved, and sorting them into 'bin now' and 'needs more attention'. Between that and sorting the mail/other recent paperwork, I filled a waste-paper basket!

How exciting that you're getting so much space back!

A project for a niebling ended up in a pretty serious round of stash-busting. Exciting. \o/

I found another set of small items in need of a box. I need to finish my last round of boxes so I can see if one of the taller ones will work for them. If it will, I know where to find more.
