Weekend uncluttering

I've not been well this last week, so have done very little decluttering at all. However, I perked up today, and sorted through both the small freezer and the storage freezer. In the process I found a range of tag ends of fruit, and made a fabulous smoothie/sorbet kinda thing. I actually ended up with a stack more than the kids and I could eat, so some for tomorrow!

Other than that, I managed to get the bedroom floor cleared (completely), in the process finding several lots of papers that I just need to check through to make sure I can throw them out, so that it tomorrow's job.

Yum, smoothies. :)

I was getting paint out for my daughter so she can paint a little pumpkin for Halloween and I noticed that my very old samplers of acrylic paints are all dried up, so I threw those out.

I also organized one of the closets (the cupboard under the stairs) a bit while I was looking for the iron for my husband. This closet is so small that he routinely bumps his head in there, so it was easier for me to look.

Yay for organisation and disposing of no longer useful craft materials! I hope you found something else to paint the pumpkin with.
