What are your uncluttering wins for the weekend?

I have moved a full box from the front hall to the car, in the hope that I'll be able to drop it off through the week; I've filed all the unclutter comment notifications (and replied to some!); and thrown out Yet More random bits of paper.

I listed a few more things for sale, gave away a thing, put a thing in donation. I reorganized some things in a bin, threw some of those bits in the trash, and found a thing we've been missing for six years! Amazing what happens when you clean up, eh? I also cleaned up Spouse's car, which resulted in a full bag of trash and a full bag of toys removed from the car (and found TWO things we've been missing, one for a week, one for a year or two?).

Really hoping something will sell this week.

I mailed four books for swaps on Friday and it was nice because there were only two packages, so I saved on shipping by sending two books in each package. Of course, I went to two book sales the next day, but I only bought two books for myself and a bunch for my daughter. I think I will go to the Little Free Library today to return a few books.

We also have a pair of my daughter's pants to put in the give away pile. My husband put them on her yesterday and she said they were too tight and tried to take them off, so it's stretchy pants only for her now. ;-)

Well done and good luck with the selling.

I have added to the pile of things leaving the house but in honesty apart from two bags of trash and a full box of cardboard/paper recycling, nothing's left yet.

I have better organised what is to leave and now have a box and a bag to go to a specific organisation - a mix of filing trays, files and books. I have packed five boxes of books, audio books and DVDs with a view to taking part in a car boot sale, and have started a box of shoes/boots, outgrown toys, no longer wanted jigsaws and similar items.

I dabbled in jewelry making a little while ago but for various reasons lost the enthusiasm, so am now wondering what I can do with what's left... I guess I could still try selling the various things I did make at the car boot sale. But I somehow don't think the enthusiasm is going to return to an extent at which I will return to making significant amounts. If I got rid of the 'stuff', it would create space and perhaps diminish the guilt that I'm not successfully making and selling wonderful jewelry, whilst also leaving me free to pursue the crochet, knitting and sewing that I also have masses of lurking in various places.

I recently gave away most of my jewelry making stuff too. I haven't been very interested in it for quite some time, though I did keep (then misplace) the pliers and such for various jewelry repair needs.

:) Yes, it made me happy, especially since two were hardcovers and one was a huge trade paperback that was even heavier than the hardcovers. Each package cost $3 and change, but if I had mailed everything separately, I would have spent around $12.

I was surprised when I tried her one and only pair of corduroys on her the other day and she had no problem wearing them. But other than them, it's leggings and jeggings all the time. Good thing I bought a ton of them. ;-)
