weekend uncluttering

The only thing I've uncluttered today is part of my DW comments inbox. So if you got a comment on an old post, that would be why. On the plus side, I have ~100 fewer emails :)

What about you? Where have you focused your uncluttering energies this weekend? Or have you been busy elsewhere?

I have a thing listed for giveaway, the person should pick it up any minute.

A buyer will come by tomorrow for another thing. $5 is $5!

I'm gathering some toys to make sure I have all the bits before I try to sell them. We'll see how well this goes!

I want to go to the record store today to see if they will take any of the records in trade that I decided not to keep. Whatever they don't take will go in my yard sale in two weeks.

I've been going through a drawer I don't use much and found several bras that no longer fit me. So those left the house.

I have been doing data entry to LibraryThing for books in the south wall bookcase, where each shelf has 2 rows. I have completed putting location tags - south wall back two west, for instance. All the back rows are done; I now have the front to work on. I have pulled at least 15 books during this process. So far 242 have gone, so I am almost at the halfway point in my effort to get rid of 500. Onward!

Do you have a specific mob you give them to? I've been trying to work out what one does with second hand bras. I know that there are a couple of mobs that take new ones, and lots of places say that they don't take second hand socks, but i have no idea about bras!

Organisation to go with your decluttering! I love librarything, it has been my friend in so many different ways.

The guy never got here yesterday, so I put the thing in recycling. Close enough for me!

Thanks. OMG, it went so much better than I expected! I had 33 records and they took 22 in trade. They gave me $50 in store credit so I got 12 CDs- and 5 of those I had on record or tape, so I can get rid of those now too.

I give them to a specific woman I know, a single mom who doesn't have much money. So I can't help you there, I'm afraid. It just seems a waste to throw them away since bras can be so expensive.

Ah. Yes, that is exactly how I feel about it these bras -- they don't fit me right, but they are still a significant investment!
