What have you been finding to evict from your life this weekend?

I know I've added some bits and bobs to the op-shop box, but I have no memory of what they are. I've also managed to repair a shopping bag using pieces of dead clothing, so I'm at least fighting against More Stuff there.

Plus I pulled a lovely-but-too-small piece of fabric out of my stash to make a table cloth for the small table I've moved next to my rocking chair. I stood and looked at the fabric stash for rather a long time before picking this one -- I can foresee a tedious/stressful day of sorting through it and saying 'but will I use it' about rather a lot of fabric.

I've had a good weekend!

A few weeks ago I bought a bunch of collectible items from a festival I love, and tried to sell or trade them for a specific one. Well, trading didn't work, but all save one are sold! I need to ship one, and I'm meeting people for the last two pick ups. AND I made a profit, even if I didn't get the specific collectible I wanted.

We cleaned out the camper and lots of things are heading to the secondhand store. I had JUST dropped off a box there the other day.

Two fb giveaways right now, one has been claimed but not picked up. I have some things to donate tomorrow. AND--this is huge for me--I put things in the trash. I accepted there is no use for these items. I cannot repurpose them, no one else will want them to use or repurpose. So. Trash. I rarely throw things away when decluttering. I've been able to find a person, place, or recycling location for everything else.

Currently reading a book from my read-then-donate pile.

I just put the second litter box in the trash. The current elderly cat never goes down the basement stairs to use it anymore, and I also realized 1) the box wasn't in very good shape and 2) we're very unlikely to get another, more mobile cat for a long time. So the litter box is gone, and I cleaned that area of the basement, hopefully making it more likely I will unclutter the nearby shelves sometime.

De-stashing is challenging! Hopefully you can find a low-stress time to tackle that project.

Congrats on putting things in the trash!! I also have a reluctance to do that, but I'm getting better at recognizing that sometimes it's the best option.

I finished listening to my records and got rid of 33! That includes a few singles, but most are full-length albums. I own most of them on CD but just never got around to checking if the records play or skip, but a few were just not to my taste anymore. I don't know when we will have time to go to the used record store to see if they will take these in trade though.
