unclutter | General totals for the last week and a half or so...

I'm not keeping meticulous track and my counting is sort of arbitrary. Things I do not count: food, normal household trash and recycling. Organizational supplies are an acceptable in.

3 books (exchanged for many)

2 bracelets
1 cutting board

1 spool beading thread
1 antique spindle (gift)
1 handbound book (gift)
3 packages beads

Total: 18

Out:

10 yards fabric (sold)
1 box of books (bookstore + library donation)
1 box miscellaneous stuff (thrift store)
3 extra bags recycling (including all those notebooks)
1 extra bag trash
2 packages mailed
1 old cutting board (trash; had weird mold issue)
1 box of stuff for former volunteer job
1 air mattress and pump (given away)

Total: 21

Net: -3

The net in volume is quite a bit better, especially since I counted something like 30 books out as "1 box" but counted the books in individually.

Organizational supplies in:

4 organizers for craft supplies
2 CD organizers
1 basket

Goals for this weekend: get packages of stuff I have been meaning to mail for, literally, YEARS, ready to mail and confirm addresses of recipients. Finish going through papers. Get new (better) tackle box for beading tools and get rid of old one.

Goal for next week: have everything reasonably organized and stuff I'm taking with me for temporary move packed. Yikes! I am actually pretty close to the first goal, at least....
