Weekend check in

How'd it go? Any movement?

I sent 2 (small) things to a friend, and have 3 more (very small) things to send whenever I make it back to the post office.

Otherwise, I had a lot of visible progress this weekend! I went through books and filled a box to give away--those will be gone later today. I have a bag of toys to give away, not sure when those will leave, but they're approved by the children to leave the house. I have a bag of things for the consignment store started, hope to add more things before I go to the store. Whatever they don't buy will be dropped at goodwill on the way home. And a friend will be by later this week to pick up a large baby item.

I also have a stack of magazines ready to give away/recycle, but will cut off our address first. That may take a day or two to get to.

I tidied some items I no longer wear ever. Some can donate. Others are destroyed past use.

A decision was made to replace a household item, and progress was made toward doing the thing.

I have been gradually filling bags to be taken to the thrift store, and they're starting to take over the corner of a room so I need to get them out of the house soon. I'm checking the donation hours now and making a plan for getting there later this week.

I tided my home office desk, which involved sorting, filing, and binning things. It is sooo much calmer now! \o/
