Wednesday!

Oof.

So this week has had a pretty good start! I gave away 16 extra hangers. I'm sending a box of handmedowns today. I've got a friend coming over for a thing I was trying to sell--whatever she gives me will work for me, because the thing is gone! And I've added a shirt to be recycled--too stained to be saved. I liked that shirt.

How are you doing?

Yaaaay thing is gone! Sorry about the shirt, though.

I got a big bookshelf for the living room. Which means the small bookshelf it's replacing can go to another room and replace a piece of chipboard furniture that is falling apart. \o/ Bonus: going through everything /on/ the small shelf for transfer to the big one.

I finished with a hobby: I no longer have any fish. (They're fine; they've been rehomed.) The aquarium still needs a new home, but I think I know someone, and if not, the humane society will want it.

Good luck with rehoming the aquarium, and I hope sorting through and reshelving the books isn't too tiresome (and maybe produces some items to get rid of).

Hooray for the thing you were trying to sell being Gone, and well done on the other bits of progress.

I've been mostly focused on working in the garden (many weeds are gone) but I did find two more things to go to the book donation bank. Those and the rest of the books I'd sorted out were put in the donation bank on Tuesday. That was the last of the books I'd earmarked to go, but I'm sure I'll find some more when I next poke at the bookshelves.

I also threw away the end of the packet of lettuce seeds that largely failed to germinate. (Seeds were bought last year and I used half then. The rest were still "in date" and I've usually not had any problems with using up seeds the year after they were bought, so this was annoying. I think the only other time this happened was also with lettuces.)

Let's hope the birds didn't get all the seeds! Good work on dealing with that seed packet. :-)

I just got rid of a few pens and markers that wouldn't write anymore. I have more in a filing cabinet, but I can't get to it because of the big pile of junk in front of it, so that will have to wait until another day.

I've also been weeding out my daughter's outgrown clothes and still need to put them in bags. If I have a yard sale this year, I will put some of the clothes out for the sale. (I prefer to do a sale when there's a citywide sale in my city, but I haven't heard anything about one this year).

Well done for heading off the potential irritation of picking up a pen and finding it won't write! And good work on weeding the clothes -- I hope you get details of a citywide sale soon and are able to move things on that way.
