How's your week going?

I've found one part to a toy I've pulled aside to give away. When I'm sure I've got all the parts, I'll find it a new home. I'll drop a CD at the library for their sale while I'm out tonight. Currently offering a thing for free on craigslist--cannot BELIEVE I still have it--and trying to sell another thing on craigslist. I've got Plan C for the thing I'm selling (Craigslist is Plan B, no one took it from my fb offers as Plan A).

I have ticked two boxes off my bingo card -- papers (took receipts to health fund for claiming), and clothing (dead pair of underwear no longer in drawer). Neither of these were large, but they happened.

Good luck finding the rest of the toy parts and getting some takers on craigslist!

I went through my pile of gardening clothes and pulled out 3 items that are much tattier than the rest. (Going forward, I need to start removing one item for every item I add.)

The clothes and some books that I pulled out a couple of weeks ago should go to the recycling banks tomorrow.

I've been getting rid of books at an alarming rate. ;) I mailed some that got requested on Paperback Swap and I put a few children's books in the local Little Free Library, plus I have one more to mail today (if it doesn't thunder storm). When the Little Free Library empties a bit, I still have a few more books I'd like to put in it.

I also cut up some paper grocery bags to use as wrappers for mailing swapped books. We usually use cloth bags, but sometimes we forget one for Whole Foods or don't take enough bags to Trader Joe's, so we get the occasional paper bag. They had started taking over my library room, so I had to do something about them. When they are all cut up, the fit nicely into my little rolling wire rack mailing station.
